Entrepreneur and Military Spouse, Liza Rodewald, Joins Operation Code’s Board of Directors

Hire MadSkills Co-Founder and CTO joins board to represent fellow military spouses in coding.

Richmond, Va., August 30, 2017 — Operation Code, the largest community dedicated to helping military veterans and their families launch software development careers, announced today the addition of Liza Rodewald to it’s board of directors.

Rodewald is the co-founder and CTO of Hire MadSkills, an online talent community dedicated to providing unbeatable remote work positions across many industries to resilient military spouses. And, as an Army wife herself—with more than 16 years experience working in technology—she understands, firsthand, the value a coding career can bring to military spouses looking to make a big move towards a more portable, profitable opportunity.

“Having Liza Rodewald on the board of directors will bring ever more awareness of the role and importance military spouses can bring to tech,” David Molina, Founder and CEO of Operation Code, said. “Her experience as a military spouse, as a software developer, an entrepreneur and federal IT contractor, and as co-founder & CTO of MadSkills, will bring tremendous value and incredible insight to the board as we continue to expand globally serving military families.”

With this new addition, Operation Code will go on to ensure that all areas of the military community can be served throughout the coding schools and accelerated learning programs it provides. And, ultimately, persist in serving as a resource for military spouses and veterans to learn new skills and build a career—something both Operation Code and MadSkills is passionate about.
